As a SMART Exemplary Educator, I’m always looking for great SMART Resources. As I share ideas with friends, I’m always surprised with how many great tools they didn’t know about before.
One of my favorite functions of Notebook Software is to set the Transparent Background so that you can still be running your Notebook Software but be able to navigate your browser or desktop with the functionality you’re use to. For example, use your Notebook math tools while running and viewing Google Earth. Click Here to see a 2 minute tutorial. If you’ve ever been on a website and wanted to underline something and been annoyed that the ‘screen capture’ comes on and takes a snapshop of your webpage… Transparent Background is for you. Simply click the screen before leaving Notebook and then go to your desired website.
Adam Bellow, founder of eduTecher, has a great video for SMART Tips and Tricks using Notebook 10.
